JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform all of the following job duties to support and/or lead IEC 60601-1 EMC and Safety testing for compliance with medical device requirements.
• Design and support electrical proof of concept, testing, and measurements.
• Create simple electrical designs including supporting boards and/or test fixtures.
• Execute simulations and testing to help verify designs and test prototypes.
• Assist with component research and selection.
• Participate in testing and integration tasks.
• Prototype assembly and testing.
• Work with other team members and senior engineers, support integration and test efforts.
• Interface with manufacturing engineers in the design and validation of test equipment.
• Review design and documentation to ensure compliance with design criteria and standards.
• Recommend alterations and enhancements to improve the quality of products and/or procedures.
• Contribute to research efforts to develop a solution or a new product.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in the Related Occupation
RELATED OCCUPATION:
Electrical Engineer or any other job title performing all listed job duties.
SALARY RANGE: $70,000.00 to $110,000.00/year
